Nicole graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and then completed the national board exams to certify with the Canadian Athletic Therapists’ Association in 2003.  Nicole works with the tertiary programs providing orthopaedic assessments, functional capacity evaluations, education on movement mechanics, chronic pain and the principle of hurt vs. harm, as well as providing exercise prescriptions, modifications, regressions, and progressions alongside the exercise therapists and other members of the United Therapies team.

Nicole is a certified ARCON evaluator, she is a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist, a Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Exercise Trainer, she is also certified in the Functional Movement Systems (FMS and SFMA).

She has attended numerous professional development courses, including courses with Dr. Stu McGill, Dr. Craig Liebenson, Dr. Greg Lehman, Dr. Evan Osar and Charlie Weingroff.
